Saints in the City

The Saints in the City are ordinary people in our cities who are endeavouring to live out what it means to be true followers of Jesus. They do not consider themselves to be better than anyone else. They know that they have been adopted into God's family as his children and that his love for them is not based on their performance, but on who they are. They are intent on becoming less in order that Jesus can become more in them. They are committed to:

  -  Surrendering their lives to Jesus

  -  Knowing God as their Father

  -  Becoming a landing place for the Holy Spirit

To create an opportunity for the church in your city to have a fresh encounter of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

To enable the church to take the love of the Father to an ever increasingly fatherless generation, in order that this generation return home to their heavenly Father and encounter the full height, breadth and depth of his love. for them.

But the Father said to the servants, "Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet. And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found. So the party began. (Luke 15:22-24)

Empowering the child of God - by putting on the ROBE

Our heavenly Father holds out a robe for us to put on. By having a fresh encounter of the Father's love and exchanging our filthy garments for a robe we don't deserve, we come into new depths of knowing God as our Father

Experiencing the power of God - by putting on the RING

Our heavenly Father has given us the family ring. By having a fresh encounter of the Holy Spirit, we receive a new boldness and authority to do even greater things than Jesus did.

Embracing the mission of God - by putting on the SHOES

Our heavenly Father invites us to put on the shoes of Jesus and to begin to walk in his footsteps, dying to ourselves and joining him in his mission to restore a lost generation with their heavenly Father.

Embodying the family of God - by coming into the BANQUET

Our heavenly Father invites us to take our place at his banquet. Having eaten from his table we can then become the Father's 'welcome home' to lost sons and daughters returning to be reunited with their heavenly Father.
